GO PARK makes excellent use of the beautiful coastline nearby, as well as the islands and country parks close in Sai Kung, perfectly blending sports, arts, hiking, water activities, retail and tourism into an all-round experience. As the only sports complex in Hong Kong operated by a private entity and open to the public, GO PARK has partnered with over ten sports associations and renowned sports academies to offer various programmes, ranging from beginner classes for the general public to training for the Hong Kong team. This initiative aims to promote sports in the community, support elite athletics and encourage the commercialization of sports. GO PARK also embraces the idea that ‘tourism is everywhere’, establishing itself as a new landmark for the integrated development of sports, culture, and tourism. Beyond sports, the new development features over 40,000 square feet of children’s play facilities, complemented by a diverse range of tenants and restaurants and a pet park. This makes GO PARK well equipped to meet the needs of different families and serve as a new gathering spot for families of all generations.
Designed by the renowned Zaha Hadid Architects, GO PARK Sai Sha features a sleek design with geometric aesthetics in its multi-layered architectural planning that integrates natural landscapes into a futuristic development. GO PARK Sai Sha comprises two main areas. The first area is the one million-square-foot outdoor park GO PARK Sports, which serves as a public-facing sports academy offering facilities for over 10 popular urban and emerging sports. This initiative encourages more people to engage in sports and enjoy a healthy lifestyle. The park is now officially open for public bookings of classes, personal coaching, events, and facilities via the GO PARK Sports App and website.
The other area is the 300,000-square-foot sporting commercial complex which features sports, leisure, dining, and entertainment spaces. Highlights include a multi-purpose indoor stadium accommodating 1,500 people; three major children’s playgrounds covering over 40,000 square feet; and a pet park spanning over 3,000 square feet. Additional facilities include a temperature-controlled swimming pool, a fencing school, a fitness gym and an outdoor climbing wall. The complex is pet friendly, promotes physical and mental well-being and multigenerational engagement. It connects people with shared interests and creates a modern community filled with opportunities for discovery.
GO PARK Sai Sha’s new water sports centre, GO PARK Aqua, is expected to begin operations soon. Covering an area of 130,000 square feet, this project highlights Sai Sha’s unique coastal resources. In partnership with various sports associations and organizations, it will offer an extensive range of aquatic activities and diverse lifestyle events. The project will also feature a giant photo frame along the coastline—providing visitors with opportunities to capture unique and unforgettable photos.
