New Octopus for China available by the end of 2024?

Hearsay the card not only can be used regularly in Hong Kong but also in more than 300 cities in China and they will be available by the end of this year, but they can be purchased only at specific MTR Stations, while they can simply be topped up in HKD which will be automatically converted to Renminbi.
