Sun Yat-sen Museum Fun Day
The Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum will hold a fun day on November 11 and 12 to commemorate Dr Sun's revolutionary journey.
Visitors can make a commemorative coin with the copper plate pressing machine at the museum as well as join a storytelling workshop to learn about the architectural features of Kom Tong Hall through a picture book.
They may also enjoy a musical performance, get a taste of traditional Chinese juggling and play a quiz game. The museum located at 7 Castle Road, Mid-Levels, Central was originally local businessman Ho Kom-tong’s residence. Built in 1914, Kom Tong Hall is not only one of the very few surviving structures in Hong Kong dating back to the early 20th century, but also a declared monument.
The fun day is one of the programmes under Muse Fest HK 2023. Members of the public are invited to participate for free from 10am to 7pm. Call 3580 6780 for enquiries.
